Focus and Scope

semanTIK is one of the media publication of research results in the field of information technology. Research studies in this journal include Software Engineering, Computer Networking, Intelligent Systems, Information Systems, Robotics, Computational Science, Geographic Information Systems, and all topics related to informatics. The targets in publishing this journal are Lecturers, Students, and Researchers in IT.

Journal History

semanTIK is a scientific journal of the Informatics Engineering Department, Halu Oleo University, Kendari. This journal was created in 2015. semanTIK journal publishes papers for students, lecturers, and practitioners in the field of Informatics both inside and outside Informatics Engineering Department, Halu Oleo University who have a topic in Software Engineering, Intelligent Systems, Information Systems, Networking, Robotics, Computational Science, Geographic Information Systems, and all topics which related to informatics.

The name of semanTIK is used based on the suggestion from Mr. L.M. Tajidun, S.T., M.Eng and for semanTIK cover were designed by Mr. Muh. Yamin, S.T., M.Eng.

semanTIK was first published in 2015 in two versions namely print and online for Volume 1 Number 1 January-June 2015 with ISSN number 2460-1446. The e-ISSN number was submitted in January 2016 after instructions from LIPI that for each version/media use a different ISSN number.

The semanTIK e-ISSN number is 2502-8928 and is valid from Volume 2 Number 1 January-June 2016. About indexing, from 2016 to October 2018, semanTIK has been indexed by 12 indexing institutions consisting of 5 from national institutions and 7 from international institutions.

In 2018, semanTIK has been successfully accredited with rank 4 by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education. In November 2018, semanTIK has been indexed by CiteFacfor.
